Expression Pattern of RNA Interference Genes During Drought Stress and MDMV Infection in Maize

چکیده

Abstract When stress factors trigger transcriptional and metabolic changes, RNA interference (RNAi) is associated with gene expression regulation at the post-transcriptional levels. RDR, DCL AGO proteins contribute to these silencing processes during reactions plant development. An entire revision of maize genes was carried out prior experiments. In this study, transcript changes a total 4 ZmRDR , 5 ZmDCL 17 ZmAGO were analysed in either drought or MDMV infection, without salicylic acid pre-treatment siRNA pre-treatment, respectively. The profiles showed early, middle late activity genes. Drought caused major profiles, indicating that there various steps response regulation. Moreover, insights gained into fine-tuning mechanisms SA case infection less diverse trends observed, which mainly focused on antiviral defence. However, treatment exogenous seems be an appropriate tool for targeted influencing RNAi, especially These results represent first contribution relationship between RNAi salicylate signalling viral siRNA-triggered defence maize.

Study of antioxidant defense genes expression profile pattern of rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars in response to drought stress

Drought stress is one of the important factors that restrict crop production in the world. This study was conducted to investigate defense gene expression in response to drought stress, and also to evaluate the drought tolerance and its mechanism in rice cultivars based on randomized complete block design in two separate environments (drought stress and non-stress). The rice cultivars used incl...

Study of Expression Pattern of Some Transcription Factors in Wheat under Drought Stress and Zinc Nanoparticles

Under drought stress condition, the signaling system induces expression of certain genes to counteract the deleterious effects of environmental stress. Among the essential micronutrients for plant growth and development, zinc has an important role in many plant metabolic processes including gene expression and stress tolerance. In order to investigate the effect of drought stress and ZnO on r...

Genomewide Expression and Functional Interactions of Genes under Drought Stress in Maize

A genomewide transcriptome assay of two subtropical genotypes of maize was used to observe the expression of genes at seedling stage of drought stress. The number of genes expressed differentially was greater in HKI1532 (a drought tolerant genotype) than in PC3 (a drought sensitive genotype), indicating primary differences at the transcriptional level in stress tolerance. The global coexpressio...

Differential Expression of microRNAs in Maize Inbred and Hybrid Lines during Salt and Drought Stress

Here, we analyzed whether the microRNA (miRNA) expression levels differ between maize inbred lines B73 and Mo17 and their reciprocal hybrids under salt and drought stress. We found that miR156, miR164, miR166, miR168, miR171 and miR319 are differentially expressed under abiotic stress. Interestingly, Mo17 × B73 showed the strongest change in miRNA expression in response to salt or drought stres...

Genes and Small RNA Transcripts Exhibit Dosage-Dependent Expression Pattern in Maize Copy-Number Alterations.

Copy-number alterations are widespread in animal and plant genomes, but their immediate impact on gene expression is still unclear. In animals, copy-number alterations usually exhibit dosage effects, except for sex chromosomes which tend to be dosage compensated. In plants, genes within small duplications (<100 kb) often exhibit dosage-dependent expression, whereas large duplications (>50 Mb) a...
